Myloe is a taste-driven recommendation app operated by IIRONIIC Media, based in Canberra, ACT, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

What we collect

To give you personalised recommendations, we collect:

• Venue interactions: taps, saves, and bookings you make.
• Device information: your device type and the app version you are running.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Personalise the recommendations we show you.
• Improve how the app works and fix problems.
• Track affiliate bookings so partners can credit referrals correctly.
• Understand overall, anonymous usage so we can build a better product.

What we do not do

Analytics and marketing tools

We use PostHog, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand how the app is used. We may also use industry-standard marketing and measurement tools to help us reach new users and understand how our campaigns perform. Any tools we use are bound by our commitment not to sell your data or share it with advertising networks for profiling.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, on servers hosted in the Australia region. We use industry-standard measures to protect it in transit and at rest.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have rights over your personal information. We also follow the standards set out in the GDPR and extend the same rights to all our users regardless of location. You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete (rectification).
• Ask us to delete your information (erasure).
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (portability).

Downloading your data

You can download a copy of your data as a JSON export at any time from within the app. This gives you a portable record of the information we hold about you.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. When you do, we immediately soft-delete your account so it is no longer accessible.

When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal information within 30 days. We retain anonymised, non-identifiable usage data to improve our service. If you opted into marketing communications at any point, we retain your email address in our marketing database until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting contact@iironiicmedia.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app.
